Amigurumi Christmas Patterns

Crocheting for Christmas can bring so much joy! To help save you time searching for patterns I've combined all of the Christmas patterns I've designed into this roundup below! Each are a free pattern here on the blog with step by step photos to help along the way!

I have plans for more Christmas patterns in the future and will be sure to add their links to this post here to keep it going. Feel free to PIN this to your crochet board to find them again later!

You can also sign up for my newsletter and I will keep you updated on new patterns, giveaways and tutorials!

All patterns call for plastic safety eyes (with the exception of Penn the Penguin) but these crochet eyes can be used as an alternative if you prefer!

You can also find the ad-free PDF versions in my Etsy and Ravelry shops.
Have a request for a Christmas pattern you don't see here? Leave me a comment below, I love new ideas to explore!

If you're new to amigurumi I have some super helpful tips and tricks for you below:

Tips to Learning Amigurumi (a walk through all of the basics, methods and my favorite tips)

Stuffing Your Amigurumi (Stuff in no time like a pro!)

Gingerbread Couple
A lot of my earlier designs had a boy and girl version each unique with their own outfit. I really wanted to keep that when I was working on this gingerbread doll couple!

They work up rather quickly and their frosting details really make me want to start baking!

You can find Ginger's pattern here and Snap's pattern here.

Patrick the Polar Bear

Patrick is ready for Winter with his nice warm sweater. Easily add a bow and eyelashes for a cute girl version.

I've actually been contemplating making Holly the Honey Bear with the nose piece from Patrick to have a cute boy and girl version in different outfits.

There just might be an update to her pattern or a Holly 2.0 in the future.

Ray the Reindeer

This sweet reindeer was so much fun to make! If you're not a fan of changing colors in amigurumi, this is the pattern for you!

Rosie the Reindeer

Rosie is one of the newest Christmas patterns here on the blog and was our first release for this years' (2019) Christmas in July event. She's half the size of Ray and perfect for stuffing those stockings!

Her legs, body and head are also made in one piece to save you time on sewing. You can make a whole family of reindeer!

Amigurumi Seal Pup

This sweet little Seal Pup was part of a super fun designer collaboration hosted by Pam of Crochetpreneur. She works up very quickly and only comes in around 7 inches tall!

Change up the colors for a unique seal pup of your own!

Miles and Millie The Moose

These two were such a blast to make! They were a fun CAL (crochet-a-long) that we had last Winter. You can find their full free pattern in the link above!

My favorite part? You guessed it, those sweet antlers!

Mini Amigurrumi Christmas Tree

You can make this tree in a short afternoon! A perfect embellishment to your decor or quick gift to make last minute!

Crochet Hippopotamus

Because you know you'll be singing the whole time...you're welcome!

This sweet hippo is definitely big in size but in heart too! She's a blast to make and still only requires one skein of yarn!

Penny the Penguin

Meet Penny the Penguin! She's one of four fun and free patterns being shared here on the blog for our 2019 Christmas in July event! She's only 6 inches tall and loves to snuggle!

Sam the Snowman

Sam is a super quick make if you are new to amigurumi! His body and head are made as one piece and no color changes are required! Feel free to change up the details for super cute girl version as well!

I hope you've found some fun Christmas patterns, I'll be sure to update this list as more designs are added!
